Phra Phong Roop Meuan Song Ma, Luang Phor Chaem, Wat Donyaihom, Nakhon Pathom, B.E.2533

Original condition of Phra Phong Roop Meuan Song Ma (Riding Horse) consecrated by Luang Phor Chaem, Wat Donyaihom, Nakhon Pathom in B.E.2533. This piece was made in commemoration of an event where a horse paid its respect to Luang Phor Chaem.

Some years ago before the creation of this batch of Phra Phong Roop Meuan, there was an incident where an untamed horse in the village was running amok. The horse owner was unable to control or restrain the horse as its temper was very fiery. The owner decided to approach Luang Phor Chaem for help, where Luang Phor Chaem agreed to follow the owner to take a look at the horse.

Upon Luang Phor Chaem's arrival, the horse immediately quietened down and strangely, it took a few steps towards Luang Phor Chaem, bent down prostration and paid its respects. An eyewitness present took a photograph of this strange event and many people further believed that Luang Phor Chaem was a guru monk who radiated great compassion and loving-kindness towards all beings.
