Rian Roon Raek, Nur Thong Fabaht, Luang Phor Thongsuk, Wat Saphansoong, Nonthaburi, B.E.2507
The medal shown above was the 1st batch Rian of Luang Phor Thongsuk made of Nur Thong Fabaht (metal from alms bowl) in B.E.2507. There were 2 moulds made, Lang Yant (Yant at back) and Lang Luang Phor Sothorn (Luang Phor Sothorn at back). Of these 2 moulds, Lang Luang Phor Sothorn is the popular mould and hence is also known as Phim Niyom. This 1st batch medal of Luang Phor Thongsuk is seldom seen even though the price is relatively inexpensive when compared to the 1st batch medals of other famous guru monks of the same generation.
