Thakrud Pok Krang consecrated by Luang Phor Thongsuk, Wat Tanod Luang is considered one of the top Thakrud in Thailand. The sealing wax used to cover the Thakrud is known as Krang Phutsa which is a type of resin from the Chinese date tree. It is believed that this type of Thakrud consecrated by Luang Phor Thongsuk was for Khong Kraphan Chatree (invulnerability to weapons) and also Kleaw Klaad (averting danger).
