Phae Metta consecrated by Luang Phor Rerm, Wat Jukkacher were created using real buffalo horns which were struck by lightning. They were blessed by Luang Phor Rerm using the traditional method by Luang Phor Um, Wat Nong Krabok, Rayong prvince, whom he learned the technique of creating Phae amulets. Luang Phor Rerm frequently told his disciples that Luang Phor Um was the first teacher whom he had learned from and that Luang Phor Um’s Phae amulets were the top in Metta Mahaniyom. He also learned the Wicha Fon Saen Ha and also creating See Pheung Jed Jan from Luang Phor Um. Luang Phor also learned the Wicha of creating Paladkhik and Nang Nha Phak Seua from Luang Phor Iee, Wat Sattaheep, Chonburi province and also learned the Wicha of creating Phong 12 Nak Sat from Luang Pu Thian, Wat Bosth, Pathumthani province.

Luang Phor Rerm’s Phae Metta amulets are very popular among Khreung Rang collectors as there were many positive experiences as feedback by his devotees. His Phae Metta amulets are reported to bless the devotees with Chok Lap (good fortune), Metta Mahasaneh (opposite sex attraction) and Metta Mahaniyom (popularity) as a single male goat is believed to be extremely attractive to a herd of female goats. The Phae amulets are also believed to protect the wearer from all kinds of danger. The style of Luang Phor Rerm’s Phae Metta is visually different from the standard Phae amulets as the craftsman who created the amulets for Luang Phor Rerm was an artisan from Issan province. However, there was a very small quantity created which was similar to the style of Luang Phor Um or Luang Phor Lard of Wat Nong Krabok but they are very rarely encountered.

The price for a Phae Metta amulet of Luang Phor Rerm is much more affordable than Luang Phor Um’s Phae amulets which costs hundreds of thousands of baht for a genuine piece. However, due to the popularity of Luang Phor Rerm’s Phae Metta amulets, there are many imitations which look like the genuine pieces and are not easily to differentiate.

This piece shown is Phae Metta of Luang Phor Rerm in its mint and unworn condition. It is also verified to be an authentic piece and issued an authentication card by Thaprachan amulets association.
