In the year B.E.2517, a batch of Roop Lor was created and consecrated by Luang Phor Hom, Wat Chakmak. The purpose was to raise funds to build the Phra Meru (Royal Crematorium) in Wat Chak Mak. This batch of Roop Lor was very beautifully casted as the mould was created by Acharn Chit Rianpracha, a top artisan and craftsman of Buddhist art in Thailand at the time. Acharn Chit also created many famous moulds, one of which is Roop Lor Hua Lim Acharn Fan Acaro, which is one of the most expensive and popular Roop Lor of Acharn Fan. The name “Hua Lim” is also given to this batch of Roop Lor as it is made in the same style as Acharn Fan’s Roop Lor Hua Lim.
This batch of Roop Lor was created with a kring seed inserted into the bottom of the amulet. Despite this being a later batch of Roop Lor of Luang Phor Hom, it is in fact rarer to come across in comparison to his 1st batch Roop Lor due to its beautiful style and limited quantity. Due to its popularity, there are already many imitations from many years ago and a genuine piece is extremely rare to come across.
Luang Phor Hom was a top guru monk of Rayong province besides Luang Pu Thim and was very respected by many other guru monks of his generation. He was also respected very much by King Rama IX and during his cremation ceremony in B.E.2520 at Wat Chakmak, King Rama IX personally attended the ceremony and lighted the funeral pyre.
